Prayer: Talking with god

We have been created for relationship and therefore prayer (talking to God) is the crux of the Christian faith. As in any good relationship good communication is of vital importance in order for the relationship to thrive! There are various ways of communicating including talking, listening and sometimes silence whilst enjoying each other’s company! Pete Greig in his book ‘how to pray’ gives an acronym for PRAY- Pause, Rejoice, Ask and Yield. As we continue in this season of prayer let’s get more intimate with God by pausing, rejoicing, asking and yielding.
